If I had to narrow it down to one thing I learned these past two years, it was the key to persistence. Second half of first we were on the Sheridan Sun/Ezine, where we had to contact our own sources for our original story ideas. It started giving me a feel of what I wanted to pursue as a career. After contacting my own sources for a year, I slowly started realizing that some people WILL NOT get back to you. Also, during my years here I have realized that I may want to lean more towards the layout aspect of magazines/newspapers, more than the writing. Persistence is vital when it comes to writing a feature or even laying out a page. I thank those people who never got back to me and challenged me further. I also thank those people who can't work InDesign and forced me to re-design your whole page. Again, thank you.
Cheers,
